Always found the staff at this Rockville Pharmacy friendly and helpful. I have watched them handle some very mean, rude customers with grace and poise. I think they get a bad rap, but I find they treat everyone with respect, and they do their best to help you. I go here a lot as it’s just around the corner from my business.

Getting a Covid Vaccine booster? You must bring a copy of your previous vaccine shots. I showed up to my Covid vaccine appointment and was told I could not get the booster vaccine unless I presented a copy of my earlier vaccination. I showed the attendant a picture of my first vaccination, but she said she needed to see both and that I could come back with it and be helped later today. She was very friendly and respectful, but it upset me that nowhere on the website nor in the confirmation text does it say we had to bring a copy of our previous Covid vaccination. On the bright side, the prices there were affordable. I bought some Ivermectin at a discounted price.

I also have found some of the staff to be less than friendly. Usually, it is a pharmacist who appears to be totally overwhelmed. Are they understaffed? I have to say that the ancillary staff is usually very customer friendly, but they too look very stressed while doing their tasks. My biggest frustration with this pharmacy is that they do not answer the phone more often than not. I have called at different times during the day, and the phone just rings. When it switches to the answering machine, I sometimes leave a message. Sometimes I am so frustrated that I just hang up. I spent all my working life in health care (hospital RN), and I know it’s very well. If these people are being stretched way too thin, then I would say that management needs to address this. If not, then I would say to the staff that verbal and nonverbal communication is as important as accurately filling prescriptions.

After a bit of confusion with Ivermectin, I was looking for. They called me on a Sunday to clarify and order what I was looking for. I never leave reviews for business, but I can’t stand this place. The staff is slow, unprofessional, rude, and just all-around terrible. They don’t call you to tell you when your prescription is ready (even though you’ve asked them to, repeatedly), and they act obviously annoyed when you call to check on the status of it. Also, they never answer the phone. Take your business somewhere else, or you’ll regret it.
